Prescription & Medical Assistance
We help low income and homeless individuals become and remain healthy by improving their access to necessary medical services, equipment, and medications.
Assistance is available for Fayette, Jessamine, Scott County residents who can’t afford medical treatment that has been prescribed for them by a physician. We can help with the purchase of prescription medications and medically necessary equipment such as hearing aids, diabetic testing strips, or a wheelchair.

Funds are given as available. This program was financially assisted by Good Samaritan Foundation, Inc., a ministry of the Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Individuals who are sick or injured may receive treatment through our on-site UK Free Medical Clinic. In partnership with the University of Kentucky, our clinic provides examinations, treatment, lab testing, and referrals at no cost to individuals who are uninsured or under-insured.
